What this site records when you enquire about a unit, what it never records, and who reads it.

01

Who operates this site

World Warehouse Advertising L.L.C operates worldwarehouse.org, where owners and licensed brokers advertise industrial and commercial property to rent in the United Arab Emirates. This page sets out what the site records about you, why it records it, and who else sees it.

02

What the enquiry form collects

The enquiry form on a listing asks for your name and a phone number. An email address and a message are optional, and the form is sent without them. There is nothing else on that form and no account to open in order to use it.

What you type is kept so that the advertiser named on that listing can call you back, and so the enquiry can be found later by the reference it was filed under.

03

The address your browser connects from

A raw IP address is never written to our database. Before anything is stored, the address is combined with a secret held only on the server and reduced to a SHA-256 hash. That hash lets us count how many enquiries have come from one connection in the past hour and refuse the sixth, which is what keeps the form from being used to flood an advertiser. It cannot be turned back into an address, and it is used for nothing else.

04

How the site measures itself

Page views, taps on a WhatsApp button, taps on a phone number and searches are recorded by our own server. No third-party analytics script runs on this site, no advertising cookie is set, and no identifier is shared with another company. Those records carry the page, the time and a listing reference. They do not carry your name, your number or your address.

So that the pages of one visit can be counted as one visit, the tab generates a random value and holds it in sessionStorage. Closing the tab destroys it. The language you choose is stored in your browser the same way, so the site opens in it next time. Signing in to the advertiser portal sets a session cookie, which is what keeps you signed in; it plays no part in measurement.

05

WhatsApp and the telephone

Ask on WhatsApp opens WhatsApp with the listing reference already written into the message. From that point the conversation runs between you and the advertiser on Meta's service and under Meta's terms. We record that the conversation was opened. We do not see what is said in it.

Tapping a phone number records that the number was shown. The call itself runs over the telephone network, and we neither route it nor record it.

06

Who your details reach

An enquiry goes to the advertiser named on the listing you were reading, and nowhere else. We do not sell contact details, we do not rent them, and we do not hand an enquiry about one property to the advertiser of another.

Two suppliers process data on our instructions and for no purpose of their own: Supabase, which hosts the database in the ap-south-1 region in Mumbai, and Vercel, which serves the site. Data therefore leaves the United Arab Emirates to reach that database.

07

How long it is kept

An enquiry stays in the advertiser's inbox while it is being worked and is deleted 24 months after it arrives. Measurement records carry no personal detail and are kept as statistics. When a listing is withdrawn, an enquiry already made against it keeps its reference, so the record of what was asked about outlives the advertisement.

08

Asking for your record

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask for it to be deleted. Use one of the routes on the contact page, and quote the reference from your enquiry if you kept it. Without a reference we may not be able to separate your record from other enquiries that share a first name.

The controller is World Warehouse Advertising L.L.C, United Arab Emirates.
